Tour Itinerary Day by day:

D1 Jakarta – Ujung Kulon Mammals Watching Tour  – (B,L,D)

You will be picked up around 4 am at hotel in Jakarta by our driver, then proceed to the Border of Ujung Kulon by a private car. Breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant. And after we have had breakfast, we drive to the border of the park, arrival at the border, walk and jungle trekking tour to the camp site and we hope we will be lucky to see : Javan lutung ( trachypithecus auratus), Javan Gibbon ( hylobates moloch), one of the endemic to Java Island, Grizzled Leaf Monkey ( presbytis comate), endemic to Java Island,  Long-tailed macaque ( macaca fascicularis), Black-banded squirrel (callosciurus nigrovittatus). Arrival at the camp site. Explore the beautiful Mount. Honje, this mountain has a special beauty of natural vegetation. With a height of only about 700 meters above sea level, climbers do not need to spend so much extra energy. When exploring the mountain area, it is not uncommon to meet a variety of other wildlife. Mount Honje is located in the Ujung Kulon National Park area which is treated to beautiful forest vegetation and protected wildlife. Dinner will be served at the camp site, and after we have had dinner, night walking that gives us an excellent chance to find Red-giant flying squirrel (petaurista petaurista),  Sunda colugo (galeopterus variegates), Javan slow loris ( nycticebus javanica) sometimes can be found around the camp site,  Javan mouse –deer ( tragulus javanicus ), common pencil-tailed tree mouse, large pencil –tailed –tree mouse, small –toothed palm civet, Sumatran palm civet, sunda pangolin (rare), javan porcupine (rare), lesser-short nosed fruit bath,  minute fruit bath.

D2 Ujung Kulon Mammals Full Day Tour  (B,L,D)

After  we have had breakfast, we will do for jungle trekking where we will find for Horsfield’s treesrew ( tupaia javanica), Javan Mongoose ( Herpestes Javanica),  the plantain squirrel ( callosciurus notatus), Three-striped ground squirrel ( lariscus insignis), one of the most sensitive, Black-giant squirrel ( ratufa bicolor). Lunch and Dinner will served at the campsite.

D3 Ujung Kulon Mammals Watching Tour Island  (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we will do for short jungle trekking while we are looking for some mammals species which missed in the previous day. Then at 10 am, we trek back to the border where we will continue to cruise  to Peucang Island by wooden boat takes around 3 hours approximately, arrival at Peucang Island, check in, basic Fauna Lodge,  and explore the unique and delightful island of Peucang lies in clear blue waters off the north western coastline of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula. Its white-sand beaches and coral reef shores hold a fascinating world of marine life while Peucang’s impressive forest shelters an abundance of wildlife, some of which graze and play around the lodges. Opposite Peucang Island across a 800 meters channel is the Ujung Kulon Peninsula with a wide variety of attraction. Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found all along the shore. For deeper snorkeling there are coral reefs to the east, midway between the Island and mainland. Afternoon short walking around Peucang Island to find Javan Deer, Eurasian Wild Pig, and we hope we will see the flock of the large flying fox in the dusk time.

D4 Ujung Kulon Mammals Watching Tour  (B,L,D)

Breakfast will be served on the boat while you are enjoying the beautiful morning at the island, then we cruise to the mainland where you will visit the Savana at Cidaon, situated on the Peninsu opposite Peucang Island, this large grasslands with an observation tower is the grazing grounds to find  Banteng ( bos javanicus). Explore Cidaon. And after that, we cruise back to Peucang Island. Afternoon walking tour Karang Copong, walks and trips to Karang Copong, this pleasant walk north on Peucang Island passes through towering forests to a rock archway beyond which are the reef pools of Karang Copong. The trail leads to the top of a bluff overlooking the reef from where spectacular tropical Sunset can be seen. Explore Karang Copong. Then we trek back to the lodge.

D5 Ujung Kulon –  Jakarta Hotel  (B,L,)

Breakfast will be served on the boat while you are enjoying the beautiful morning at the island. Today is your own program. Then at 10 am, we cruise back to the border wooden boat where you will be dropped back to Jakarta hotel. End of Ujung Kulon Mammals watching tour.
